It is only the second day into the new year and many people are working diligently to keep their new year’s resolution.
A popular resolution every year is to lose weight and get back into shape and many are already following up on those resolutions.
"Weight Watchers, my daughter is a Weight Watchers employee and I took off the all the weight I wanted too and then I put it all back on, but I am going to get back on track," says Debbie Smith.
"Watch what I eat and exercise," tells Sherry Bates.
In addition to getting back into shape, some are looking to spend more time focusing on the important things in life.
"Diet and exercise I get, I don’t know how well that is going to go, but then family and friends, just making more time for them spending less time with work and keeping the important things in mind," says Angie Powell while shopping with her daughter, Peyton.
For others, keeping their new year’s resolution is as simple as being optimistic.
"Just make the best out of things, look at the bright side I guess," says Olivia Hamilton.
Making a lasting change is not easy, but for many new beginnings is what the new year is all about.
