The Ohio Lottery is thinking of joining the Powerball game, and that decision could come as early as this spring.

Mother Tuckers cashiers Audrey Davis and Ruby Tabor say they would love for Ohio to be able to participate in the Powerball game.

"We have a lot of people that play lottery here, and that would be super because there’s a lot of Ohioans, a lot of Zanesville people that go out of town or actually go out of state to play the Powerball, " says Davis.

They say customers continually ask why Ohio doesn’t participate and even have some customers who try to cash in their Powerball tickets.

"I think it would really boost business. I mean we have a good calling as is, and I think it would make an even bigger difference, " says Davis.

31 states, Washington D. C., and the Virgin Islands currently participate in the Powerball game, including our neighboring states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana.
