The start of the new year is filled with many resolutions, including getting your finances back on track, and the United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties wants to help.

"If you’ve kind of got your basic budgeting already down and ready to go, but you want to take your money further, " says Financial Stabilization Program Coordinator, Amy Davis.

It’s holding a financial bootcamp, titled "Road to Financial Stability," starting January 12th, to help you reach that goal. It’s a six-week long program that will take place at the Muskingum County Opportunity Center every Tuesday for two hours.

"It’s not like six weeks could change their lives, but it can give them the tools to be able to change their lives, " says Davis.

Some of the topics that will be covered include, retirement, real-estate, insurance, mortgages, debt, and estate planning.

Davis says there’s still some seats left in the bootcamp, and the United Way will let people register through January 10th.
