Two men are in the hospital Wednesday night after an accident on Coopermill Road.

It happened around 5 p.m. near 2631 Coopermill Road.

"It appears the pickup truck was westbound on Coopermill and what it is looking like and we are not sure yet because we have not spoken to the drivers of either vehicles, but the silver car was turning up in the private drive and he turned in front of the pickup," says Sgt. Jeremy Mendenhall with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol.

Community Ambulance took the driver of the pick-up and the silver Honda Civic to Good Samaritan Hospital.

"They are considered trauma, but they are not considered life threatening they were all alert and talking to us and everything, so they should be ok," says Lt. Robert Kirkbride with the South Zanesville Fire Department.

Sgt. Mendenhall says charges will be filed in the accident. The South Zanesville Fire Department, Community Ambulance, Sheriff Office and the State Highway Patrol responded to the accident.
