Wendy’s Restaurants to help Earthquake Victims

by Nichole Hannahs on January 21, 2010

As hopes dim that anyone else will be found alive in the rubble of Haiti’s Earthquake, Zanesville Wendy’s Restaurants join with other regional Wendy’s to help the quakes victims in Haiti.

In order to support the Red Cross the restaurants have come together to host a special community night Thursday. All the Zanesville Wendy’s locations will be giving 10% of all sales between 5pm-8pm to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief.

The funds will provide immediate relief for family kits, water, shelter and technical assistance.

Two million people have been left homeless by the earthquake, the death toll about 200,000.
