If you ever wanted to be a pilot, Saturday may be your day.
The Zarks RC Club is holding its annual swap meet this Saturday at Maysville Elementary School.
"It is an event that helps the public learn about the RC Club and it is also and event that if you have a project that you are finishing up or interested in getting into the RC flying, it is something that is very enjoyable," says Brett Bradley, President of the Zarks RC Club.
There will 35 vendors on hand selling planes, supplies and accessories. There will also be space to fly airplanes and helicopters. Bradley says it is a great family event and it is also a great way for beginners to get involved with the hobby.
"They will find information about the hobby if they are interested in getting involved in this, look me up or look up a Zarks member and we will be more than glad to spend the day with them, walk them through, talk about the hobby, how to get started and the importance of joining a club," says Bradley.
Zarks RC Club uses simulators for beginners to try their luck at flying an aircraft. Bradley is expecting more than 300 people to attend. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 dollar for children.
