Are you ready to take your creative idea to the next level?

There’s still time to take part in the Muskingum County Business Incubator’s "Big Idea Contest."

The contest is expanding this year to a total of nine counties in the region.

"We are starting to see response from the other counties, and it’s surprising. Some of the counties that we though that maybe wouldn’t have a high level of participation are surprising us. So, we’re excited about that, " says Jessica Sherman of the Muskingum County Business Incubator.

The Muskingum County Business Incubator can help you plan out your idea and even commercialize it. About 20 entries have been submitted so far, and Sherman says it’s looking for more.

"How many folks have you heard say, ‘I have this idea. I didn’t really know where to go with it, where to take it.’ They file it away and then a few years later see an infomercial. There’s their idea, " says Sherman.

The ideas can range from starting your own restaurant and improving energy to enhancing products that already exist.

The deadline for the contest is this Friday at midnight.
