The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says snow-covered roads and traveling at an unsafe speed led to the closing of one lane on Interstate 70 westbound last night.

A semi truck lost control around 10 p.m. Trooper Trenas Weaver says the driver went off the left side of the road into the median.

ODOT did close the passing lane until about 1:30 a.m. to allow crews to clear the scene.

Weaver says the driver was not injured and there was no damage to the semi. The driver was not cited, and Weaver says the man was on his way after crews pulled the semi out of the snow.
