Reward Offered for Info on 2 Newark Crimes

Licking County Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in solving two January crimes in Newark, and it is offering a reward of up to one-thousand dollars.

The Newark Police Department says someone stole a 12-gauge shotgun, a .22 caliber rifle, a .22 caliber handgun, and a pearl necklace on West Shield Street. It happened sometime during the dates of January 11th and January 16th.

It says the second crime took place on January 22nd. An individual took a Highpoint C-9 9 mm handgun from a home in the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue.
