Sculpting the Snow

While the snow may be messy. It is making for some great packing snow.

Ruth Harris and her family were making an igloo in front of their Abington Avenue home in Zanesville.

"We’re doing it the old-fashioned way by tons of snow, mounding it up, and tunneling it out, " says Harris.

Harris says they had been working on the project for about five hours and had one tool in mind for the job.

"Little shovels, and a great big shovel, a garden shovel, " says Harris.

However, Harris says they took breaks to keep warm. She also constructed steps and a slide for her daughter.

Across the street, John Kune, spent about six hours building an igloo and an angel. He says he used a spoon to construct both pieces, and he plans to have a unicorn in front of his home by tomorrow.
