Shopping before the Storm

Long lines, limited parking and a lack of shopping carts is what met those making a trip to the store before the winter weather hit.

Some shoppers anxiously waited in line with carts full of basics like milk, bread and water.

"Oh my that line was long in there. It’s ridiculous. I think it took me half an hour to get through the line," said Sheila Russell of Dresden.

"I figured we’d pick a few things up to beat the storm. It’s pretty busy…long lines," added shopper Jim Wagenheim.

But, even with the wait shoppers say they feel better knowing they’re winter ready.

"It’s better to be prepared then not prepared," said Bill Workman. "I got one more stop to make to get gas in the car to make sure I got a full tank and get ready for the weekend of snow."

For the most part despite the lines everyone was in good spirits and are looking forward to taking kids out in the snow or staying indoors watching this weekend’s Super Bowl.
