Ever watch an infomercial and think you had that idea three years ago. Well now is your chance to get your business idea or product to people that could turn it into reality.
The Regional Incubator for Entrepreneurs has kicked off a Business Idea Contest in nine area counties.
"What we’re looking for is business owners, employees, retirees or students who have a new creative idea that has never been tried before. The idea can be about a product or service or software for a computer or an application," Regional Director Jessica Sherman said.
"This contest is for people who have those ideas but didn’t really know where to take them. We’re able to help them develop the idea into a realistic hopefully sustainable business," Sherman said.
There will be one winner from each county. The winners will receive $500 and $500 in business services and a one year membership as a affiliate client to the Muskingum County Business Incubator.
To enter just fill out an application online at www.mcbi.info. The deadline is Feb. 26th. You do have to work or live in one of the nine counties including: Coshocton, Muskingum, Morgan, Noble, Belmont, Guernsey, Jefferson, Harrison, and Monroe. There is no age requirement for applicants.
Each winner will move on the a regional contest where there will be more money and prizes at stake.
