Winter Storm Causes Power Outages/Updated

Some people in southeastern Ohio are in the dark and cold this Saturday morning due to power outages.  American Electric Power is reporting that 7098 customers in Muskingum County are without service, 2500 in Licking County are in the dark, 948 are without service in Coshocton County, 457 lost power in Guernsey County and 449 are without service in Morgan County. There is no word yet when service will be restored. Guernsey-Muskingum Electric Cooperative is reporting 5500 customer are without service this morning and crews are working to restore power.

 The cause of the outages is being blamed on the major winter storm that is hitting our region.
