A Zanesville man is arraigned today after a home invasion Friday evening.
Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says it happened around 7:00 p.m. Friday night at 344 Linn Street.
32-year-old Ryan Viney is charged with one count of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated burglary, both with a gun specification.
Roush said this past Friday night two black males forced their way into the residence and robbed the victims at gunpoint. According to Roush shortly after the incident Viney was taken into custody.
"When the officers got there the found from the victims that two black males had forced their way into the house, dressed in dark clothing with bandanas over their face," said Roush. "One of the individuals was armed with a handgun."
The suspects, who were both wearing dark clothing and bandanas, fled on foot.
The victims were not hurt.
"Shortly after the robbery occurred, one individual was taken into custody," said Roush.
Viney’s preliminary hearing is set for Thursday, March 4.
His bond is set at $300,000.
