Zanesville Municipal Court Judge Bill Joseph has made a friendly wager on the Zanesville boys basketball game Thursday night.
If the Blue Devils beat the Port Clinton Redskins Judge Fritz Hany of the Ottawa County Municipal Court has to trade in his judge’s robe for a Zanesville cheerleader uniform. If Zanesville loses, Judge Joseph has to wear a "Wylie the Walleye" costume that Port Clinton uses in its New Year’s Eve celebrations.
The team that wins the game will have the honor of playing in the state championship game Saturday.
The judges know each other from their association with the Ohio Municipal and County Court Judges Association.
