Two state parks in Southeastern Ohio will soon receive money to help fix or maintain boating facilities.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is dispersing more than 376 thousand dollars to about 35 locations statewide. Dillon State Park is looking at about 20 thousand dollars heading its way and Burr Oak State Park can expect about 50 thousand dollars.
All projects are scheduled to be done by the end of June.
The department says the funding is necessary to keep up with the increased interest in water sports.
