The Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority has a new Executive Director.
The ZMHA board approved a resolution hiring Steve Randles.
He had served on an interim basis since last October when the board fired Phil Allen who had been arrested on a drug charge.
Board Chairman Frank Cook indicated that three candidates had been interviewed, but that Randles was the most qualified to serve as Executive Director.
ZMHA is responsible for providing decent, safe and affordable housing in Zanesville and Muskingum County.
It manages 674 units of public housing with a budget of around $11 million.
