If you’re traveling through downtown Zanesville, you can find another YMCA "Women of Achievement" recipient.

Jennifer Agin works at Wolfe, Wilson, and Phillips on 7th Street. She will be receiving the Mary Vashti Jones Funk Business Award. So, she decided to do some research on Jones.

"After I found out all the things that she did, I was thinkingi didn’t deserve the award. She had done so many good things, " says Agin.

Yet, Agin is doing work and donating her time to the community as well. She takes part in Zanesville Rotary Club, the Carr Center, the Muskingum County Community Foundation, the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Muskingum County Business Incubator.

"I do a lot of things in the community, not for recognition, simply because I like the community I live in and you want to do good things for the community, " says Agin.

Agin will be recognized in front of family and friends at the YMCA "Women of Achievement" banquets in April.
