by George Hiotis on March 4, 2010

The Zanesville Police Department had some tense moments Thursday afternoon.

They were called to 936 Indiana Street after a man inside the home, armed with a gun, threatened to hurt himself.

Captain Mike Baker says officers were able to talk 37-year-old David Olsen-Fabian into giving himself up. Baker says the man left his weapon in the home and walked outside where he was arrested by officers.

Baker says Olsen-Fabian will be charged in inducing panic. No injuries were reported.

The incident happened around 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
