Health Survey Yields Poor Results

Health Survey Yields Poor Results

A new survey indicates poor health in Southeastern Ohio.

Ohio University’s Appalachian Rural Health Institute conducted the survey in nine counties, including Muskingum and Noble. The results showed high rates of diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. The institute also developed a report on health care coverage in these areas and risk factors.

It says it hopes the information can be useful to health organizations in the area when it comes to applying for funding for health services.
