Local chapters of the National Tea Party will be holding rallies across the US this Thursday, including one outside of the Muskingum County Court House.
The rally brought out about 600 people last year. Organizer, Kay Clymer, says she wants to top that this year.
"I’m hoping so. I’m hoping and praying for a thousand people or more, " says Clymer.
Clymer says she hopes it will prompt people to go out and vote in the May Primary.
"This is an opportunity to share as to what’s going on in the country. It’s an opportunity to learn from the candidates, " says Clymer.
The rally will begin at 5 p.m.
