Two local groups are teaming up to help area kids.
The Salvation Army and the Zanesville Community Theatre are pairing up for the 3rd Annual Mystery Dinner. Salvation Army Office Assistant Mindy McCloy said it’s a youth fundraiser and it’s a lot of fun.
"People come out they have a good time and it really does help support the Salvation Army and we really do appreciate it," McCloy said.
They will be hosting a silent auction. Then you’ll get to watch the ‘Reunion at Hippie High’ during dinner and the Assistant Director Shelley Tolliver said you’ll definitely get a good laugh.
"It’s funny. It’s a ‘Reunion at Hippie High’ so we’re flashing back to the graduating class of 1969 so you have people who have evolved from the 60s some people who trying to forget the 60s and some people who are definitely living in the 60s," Tolliver said.
Tolliver said everyone in the play is having a fun time and adding local flavor. The Mystery Dinner is May 7th at 6PM.
