If you want to vote in the May primaries, there’s still time.

The Muskingum County Board of Elections is extending its hours until nine tonight.

"They can come to our office and register here to vote,or you can go to any public agency. You can register there. Those agencies will send those registrations up to us, " says Executive Director, Chris Hamill.

Hamill says they were expecting more people to come out and register today, which she says will play into the number of voters turning up at the polls .

"I just think they want to see everyone on the ballot. They want to vote for all the candidate. I think they come out more in the general election to vote then, " says Hamill.

The office is expecting about a 40 percent voter turnout in May.
