A Zanesville man pleads guilty in connection to a fatal shooting last April.

24-year-old James Tyrone McCrae appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Monday where he pled guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification and one count of having a weapon under disability.

McCrae was arrested in August for the shooting death of 32-year-old Shane Goins.

The shooting took place on April 4, 2009 at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Oak Street.

Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
