A two vehicle accident closes the northbound lanes of State Route 93 in Crooksville for about an hour.

It happened around four p.m. in front of Blacker’s Pharmacy near Buckeye Street.

Lancaster Post Trooper Matthew Tharp says the driver of the silver car was attempting to make a right hand turn from Buckeye Street onto State Route 93, when he collided with the driver of a gray Ford truck, who was traveling northbound.

The Crooksville Fire Department says there were some minor bruises caused as a result of the crash, but no one was taken to the hospital.

Both vehicles sustained major damage.

Tharp says the driver of the silver car was cited with failure to yield.
