As they celebrate their 93rd annual meeting, the Muskingum Valley Red Cross also takes time to acknowledge the time and effort of the man who has led the organization for the past 15 years.

As Dan Hartman prepares for his final days as executive director of the local chapter of the Red Cross, he would like to thank those who have helped make his time there special as well as a success.

"It’s our 93rd annual meeting for our Muskingum Valley chapter. Every year we bring all of our donors, our friends, our supporters, community together just to say thank you for everything we’ve done and this year the thank you also goes along with my retirement and i get to thank them in a special way," says Dan Hartman.

Dan says it’s the community, and those who have continued to support the Red Cross that make the difference.

"Just a thank you for letting us grow, letting us grow, letting us do things that are important to the families we serve," says Hartman.

Dan retires at the end of this month.
