The world cup kicks off today and one local business opened early for soccer fans.

This morning The Barn served breafast and beer to the early birds watching the first game of the cup. The Barn Manager Dustin Steed said this is the first time they’ve done Kegs and Eggs.

"Usually we open at 11 we opened at 9 today for a special occasion. We’re expecting a decent crowd this is the first time we’ve done something like this," Steed said.

Steed said they have a lot of soccer fans that work there and a lot that come in. One fan Matt Westerheide said he’s they are celebrating the game just right.

"Just enjoying some World Cup a few beers, some eggs, bacon, and all the good breakfast foods. You gotta include good friends and good soccer games," Westerheide said.

Westerheide says they are most excited for tomorrow’s game. Steed says they expect a great crowd for the U.S. game when we play England. He says they’ve never served breakfast before and if it continues to go well they might do it for the Ohio State games.
