Gas prices are up and just in time for the long holiday weekend.
Ohio’s gas is six cents higher than this time last week at $2.77 per gallon for regular grade.
"They say family’s everything but how are you supposed to go visit your family if it’s going to take all your money even getting gas what are you going to do," Jamies Goode said.
AAA is estimating that it will go all the way up to $2.80 per gallon by the holiday. But it’s not stopping everyone.
"If I had plans to go I would go ahead and go but it does affect a lot of people," Ben Kirkbride said.
The 4th of July Holiday weekend kicks off on Thursday evening.
