The Heath Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting.

It happened around one a.m. near the Heathwood Village Apartments and Garfield Elementary School.

Crews says they initially responded to a large fight, involving up to 30 people. They indicate that multiple shots were fired on the ground and from a moving car. No one was hurt in the incident.

Scanner traffic indicated police are looking for two vehicles. One is a red, two-door Chrysler Sebring that has a broken window. Authorities say two males are believed to be inside this vehicle and are considered armed and dangerous. The other car is described as an orange 2002 two-door Chevy.
