A local business is celebrating 110 years while giving back to the community.

The Anchor Glass Mould Shop in Zanesville gave community members the opportunity to see what they do.

"We had an open house today to celebrate the 110 years. We invited the community to come out and take a tour of, and see what we do and also give them a commemorative bottle to take away when they left the tour," says Darren Burrow, Plant Operations Manager.

In coordinance with the tour, Anchor Glass thought it would be a good time to raise money for the community.

"In our parking lot, we had our third annual classic car show. We thought it would be a good idea to tie the two together to garner more support for United Way and for the open house and both turned out suprisingly well," says Burrow.

Over 400 people walked through the plant today, and close to 100 cars were on display in the parking lot.
