Two men arrested following a drug bust in Zanesville last month pled not-guilty in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.
27-year-old James Wade of Zanesville pled not guilty to a fourth-degree-felony charge of trafficking in crack cocaine. 25-year-old Darrin Wade, also of Zanesville, pled not-guilty to two fourth-degree-felony charges of trafficking in cocaine one of which has a forfeiture specification, one third-degree-felony charge of possession of crack cocaine and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Wades were arrested June 22nd after the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug bust at 206 Mead Street.
The Sheriff’s Office says they recovered seven grams of crack cocaine, $500 a small amount of marijuana, several prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.
Judge Mark Fleegle continued James Wade’s bond at $50,000 and Darrin Wade’s bond at $100,000. Both men remain in the Muskingum County Jail.
