Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says two people are in custody in connection with the murder of Tyler Hardin of Zanesville. The Sheriff says 24-year-old Terrell Nowlin of Columbus and 19-year-old Heather Nowlin of Zanesville are both being held by authorities. Lutz says Terrell Nowlin is charged with one count of aggravated murder and Heather Nowlin is facing one count of complicity to aggravated murder. On Sunday Hardin’s body was found in a shallow grave in Newton Township by Sheriff’s Deputies. Zanesville Police were looking for the victim after his mother, Kim Saunders of Zanesville filed a report saying she had not seen her son for three days. Police got a tip late Saturday that the body would be found in a rural area of Muskingum County.
