A Zanesville man, who police report was armed while going up and down a local neighborhood Saturday, is caught.

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s office apprehended Kenneth Johnson early Sunday morning at the Ramada Inn on US 40 after the Zanesville Police Department says it passed a lead onto deputies.

He is currently being held in the Zanesville City Jail and faces two counts of assault, one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and one count of obstructing official business and unlawful restraint.

ZPD was called to the Frank Cook Senior Housing Saturday evening and closed-off the building because patrolmen say Johnson was thought to be inside and armed.
