A car is totaled on Interstate 70 after an accident, involving one vehicle.
It happened at mile marker 161, near the Airport Road exit, around 8:30 p.m.
The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says the driver, Supraja Muppala was traveling westbound.
"The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the right side of the roadway, and struck a guardrail, " says Trooper Trenas Weaver.
Trooper Weaver saysMuppala was the only person in the vehicle. She was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with what weaver is calling non life-threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation, but Weaver says the driver could be cited with failure to control.
It caused several miles of backed-up traffic on the interstate while crews worked to clear the scene.
