A nine-year-old Lancaster boy is taken by Medflight to Nationwide Children’s Hospital with what the Lancaster Police Department is calling serious injuries. A hospital spokesperson says the boy is in critical condition.

The injuries stem from an accident that happened just before noon at the intersection of Fern Trail Drive and Green Meadows Avenue. Sergeant Steve Fealty says Austin Gressierer was riding his bike, when he went through a stop sign and was struck by 57-year-old Janet Alldredge of Lancaster. Alldredge was out test driving a car from Bob-Boyd Ford.

The incident remains under investigation.
