The Ohio Department of Transportation is reporting a record number of workers on the job in July.

Just under 10,000 people were employed in construction zones through stimulus funding. These employees worked more than 400,000 hours and brought home paychecks that totaled $13.4 million. ODOT says it’s the largest single-month report the Buckeye State has received since the Recovery Act began in 2009.
