The Zanesville Police Department says a driver is cited for failure to yield at a stop sign after a four-car accident.
It happened around five p.m. at the intersection of Putnam Avenue and Johnson Street.
Lieutenant Coury says a Chevy Blazer, driven by 51-year-old Robert Rush of Roseville, was attempting to make a left hand turn and went through a stop sign. He hit the front end of a Mercury Mystique, driven by 70-year-old Deanna Walls of Zanesville. It caused Walls to veer off the side of the road and hit two parked cars.
Both drivers refused treatment at the scene.
Lieutenant Coury says Rush was cited in the incident.
