Giving Hope to “Dutchess”

A Frazeysburg family is on a mission to save one dog’s life, but they are asking for help. Here’s what you can do.

"She deserves to live, she deserves another chance," says Valerie Miller.

"Dutchess" joined Valerie Miller’s family two nights ago.

"I was on Dutch School Road and it just happneed to be at the top of the hill where it’s an open field and see her just standing on the side of the road there and stopped and then once I seen the condition she was in I knew I wasn’t leaving her behind."

Valerie has been nursing Dutchess back to health, but knows that in her condition she should see a vet, which could be very costly for the single mother. That’s why she’s asking for help.

"Anyone that’s just interested in helping save her life, I mean and wants to join me in making sure she lives."

As for the family, they don’t want to give her up.

"We just love her, we want to see her get better," says Miller

Wednesday morning the dog was taken to the Animal Medical Surgical Center in Coshocton for treatment.  An account is set up there if you would like to make a donation.  You need to call the Center at 740 622-0013 and ask to donate to the Valerie Miller account.
