One local high school is relieved to see it’s hard work paid off.

After two years of anticipation, Morgan High School celebrated the completion of it’s rennovations.

"We had trailers, kids had to go outside in between buildings to get to class, they had to go outside to get to their career technical programs now everything is housed in one facility," said Lori Snyder-Lowe, Superintendent.

The project costed nearly 22 million dollars, 88% of that money was funded by the Ohio Schools Facilities Commission, while 12% was from residents of Morgan County.

"As a Morgan County graduate of this high school, I am just thrilled, this is such a wonderful opportunity for our students to have such upgraded technology, state of the art systems, security systems, a media center, computer labs, science labs, it’s just such an exciting day for all of us," said Snyder-Lowe

U.S. Congressman Zack Space, State Senator Jimmy Stewart, and State Representative Debbie Phillips all delivered special messages at the ceremony.
