An increased nut crop across the Buckeye State could make for a promising squirrel season for hunters. It opens in less than two weeks. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says hunters will be allowed to pick up as many as six squirrels a day. It will also be an opportunity for hunters to scout the area for November’s deer season. It will officially wrap up at the end of January.
