More than 70 artists and vendors will be on the streets of downtown Zanesville this weekend.

The second Annual Y-Bridge festival starts this Friday August 6th at 6p.m. on the Y-Bridge.

"This festival is a great way to showcase local, regional, and statewide artists. It is just a fun fabulous event. Over 70 artists will be featured on the the Y-Bridge and there’s photography, jewelry, painting, pottery, woodworking, and much more," Kelly Ashby Vice President of the Zanesville Muskingum Chamber of Commerce said.

Not only is there a huge variety of artists and food but there will be hands on activities for children and wonderful entertainers as well. Ashby said they expect a nice turn out because of the survey results they got from last year.

"At the end of last year’s festival we collected surveys. Those surveys showed us that this had a great economic impact on Muskingum County. Each and every one of those surveys stated that they loved the event and they will be back for the event again next year. Each and every survey said that," Ashby said.

The festivities are Friday the 6th from 6p.m. to 10p.m. and from 10a.m. to 10p.m. on Saturday the 7th.The Main Street portion of the Y-Bridge will be closed. For more information about the entertainment or the artists this weekend go to www.ybridgeartsfestival.com.
