The Crooksville Police Department along with the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office makes multiple arrests in connection to several break-ins in both Perry and Muskingum Counties.
Lt. Mark Ross with the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office said around 1:30 Wednesday morning three people were seen at Village Park in Crooksville breaking into the concession stand at Crooksville High School’s Football field as well as pop machines and the concession stand at the pool.
When police arrived they were able to arrest a woman suspect, while two male suspects fled.
Authorities learned later the two had contacted a cab company and were able to set up a sting to get the men into the cab and then pulled the vehicle over and place the men under arrest.
Lt. Ross said the men were from Nashport and are connected to the break-in at the Maysville High School Football Field’s concession stand over the weekend, the racetrack on State Route 60 and a concession stand in Dresden.
