During its investigation, the Zanesville Post was able to determine that Binckley’s license is under suspension for O.V.I. related charges.

The OVI tags on Binckley’s car were visible at the scene. Lt. Rine says the first conviction happened back in March 2008 and the most recent was in May of 2010. WHIZ asked if alcohol may have been a contributing factor in this crash.

"We’re looking at all avenues in this investigation. We don’t know if it’s impairment through sleep deprivation or if it was chemical or drug related, " says Lt. Rine.

Lt. Rine says his post won’t be able to determine the cause for the crash without looking at a toxicology report first.
