A Zanesville father has been indicted in the death of his five-month-old son. Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says that 28-year-old Dale Wright was indicted this week on one count each of murder, endangering children and felonious assault. Muskingum County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a home in the 2000 block of the East Pike on August 2nd and discovered Dash Christopher Ray Wright was not breathing. The baby was pronounced dead at Children’s Hospital in Columbus on August 3rd. Sheriff Matt Lutz says a preliminary autopsy report indicated that there was blunt force trauma to the baby’s skull. Wright is being held on one-million dollars bond in the Muskingum County Jail.
