A 40-year-old man pleads guilty to eight counts in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

Robert Johnson faced four counts of breaking and entering, two theft counts of less than $500, and two theft counts of more than $500.

The Zanesville Police Department indicates Johnson was involved in two break-ins at gas stations on West Main Street back on June 4th. Detective Sergeant Ric Roush says he also broke into the Certified Gas Station on June 5th and State Street Market on June 14th. He says Johnson stole cigarettes from all four businesses.

Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation. Johnson’s bond was continued at $100,000.
