The vendors are prepared, the animals have been fed and the campers are ready for the week.
The Morgan County Fair opens Tuesday morning and the community has been prepping.
Vice President Kenneth Nichols said a lot of people that come have been coming for years.
"A lot of people come here for kinda a reunion deal people take vacation for a week and camp out and it seems like a lot of people have been doing that for a lot of years," Nichols said.
There will be a lot of entertainment this year as well. Including a country music singer Rhonda Vincent who will be performing Tuesday night. There will also be a tractor pull and of course you can’t forget about the fantastic food.
"They are already talking about their favorite foods. Some of them are funnel cakes, others are stake sandwiches, deep friend tenderloins. Those are some they really enjoy. If it’s deep fried that puts an aroma out in the air and when people smell it they want to eat," Nichols said.
The fair goes all week and wraps up Saturday night.
