Traffic on interstate 70 West between the Maple Avenue and State Street exit was moving at a snail’s pace this afternoon.
Trooper Corey Campbell of the State Highway Patrol says that just before 11 a.m. a refrigeration truck rear-ended a Ford pickup causing radiator fluid and truck coolant to spill on the roadway.
ODOT closed the driving lane for several hours so crews could clean up the mess. No one was injured in the accident. The refrigeration truck driver, Brett White of Baltimore, Ohio will be cited with failure to assure a clear distance ahead.
