It’s one-stop-shopping for outdoorsmen.
The fifth annual Muskingum Valley Outdoor Show features displays and various products for purchase. Archery season is right around the corner, and with 400,000 hunters in Ohio, there is a lot of interest in the area.
"It’s a hot bed for outdoor enthusiasts. The diversity of products we have here at this show highlights all of those," says Robert Loewendick, promoter for the show.
One group of avid hunters started an organization that donates venison to charitable orgnaizations. Representatives from the non-profit organization, Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry, were at the show to raise awareness and funds.
"The aim of our organization is to take God’s given bounty of processed deer, and feed it to hungry people," says Don Boling, program coordinator for FHFH.
You can catch more of what the Outdoor Show has to offer Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Longaberger Homestead. Sunday features a National Archery Invitational Tournament.
