A Somerset man is dead after his motorcycle crashes in Perry County.
It happened around 11 a.m. on State Route 668, just outside the Village of Somerset.
Lancaster Post troopers say 70-year-old James Satterfield was traveling south on his 2006 Yamaha Venture motorcycle when he went off the right side of the road, struck a culvert, and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say Satterfield was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The cause of the incident is still undetermined. It remains under investigation.
