A 14 year old Muskingum County boy who admitted to shooting his brother to death in April receives his sentence.

Thursday, Muskingum County Juvenile Judge Joseph Gormley sentenced Michael Hulsey Junior to 2 1/2 years to be served at an Ohio Department of Youth Services Facility.

Hulsey received a 6 month sentence on charges of reckless homicide, assault and possession of drugs and 2 years on a gun specification. He could possibly remain in the center until he’s 21.

Judge Gormley says Hulsey Jr. will get credit for time he has served in the Muskingum County Juvenile Detention Center since April 21.

Back in June, Hulsey Jr. admitted to the shooting death of his brother, 3 year old Shannon Harrop Jr. at their home on Back Run Road in Harrison Township
